Canaan Barrilleaux is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Barrilleaux Energy Services. As CEO, Canaan provides overarching leadership and strategic direction for Barrilleaux Energy Services, ensuring the company’s vision, operations, and growth are aligned with long-term objectives. 

He is actively involved in all aspects of the business, from operational execution to business development, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence across every team and project. Canaan is deeply committed to the safety and well-being of his team. He takes a proactive approach to implementing rigorous safety protocols and leads by example, making sure every employee goes home safe while protecting clients and maintaining the integrity of every project.

Canaan began his career in energy infrastructure in 2012 at Barrilleaux Inc., his father’s company, where he gained extensive hands-on experience in pipeline and facility construction. He founded Barrilleaux Energy Services to expand that legacy, driving disciplined, sustainable growth across all business lines while cultivating high-performing teams, ensuring operational excellence, and building long-term client partnerships.

Jason Heckt serves as Executive Vice President of Barrilleaux Energy Services and plays an active role in strategic planning, growth initiatives, business development, and aligning leadership vision with actionable goals that drive success.

Jason has over 30 years of pipeline and infrastructure experience. He was one of the original founders of a major pipeline and energy company from 2003 to 2021, where he played a pivotal role in growing the business from a small regional maintenance company into a national leader in infrastructure solutions.

At Barrilleaux, he is focused on building high-performing teams, mentoring emerging leaders, and driving disciplined, sustainable growth. Jason is committed to building trusted, long-term partnerships, and creating win-win opportunities for both our clients and company.

Chase Sorrels serves as Vice President of Operations at Barrilleaux Energy Services, where he helps guide the company’s operational performance, financial discipline, and project execution as the company continues to grow. 

Chase began his pipeline construction career in 2007 working in field project management, an experience that helped shape his practical, field-driven approach to leadership. Over the past two decades, he has led teams delivering billions of dollars in major energy infrastructure projects across the United States.

Today, he oversees multiple operational divisions and works closely with project teams and company leadership to help ensure projects are delivered safely, reliably, and with strong financial stewardship. In his role, Chase focuses on strengthening operational systems, supporting project teams, building lasting client relationships, and ensuring Barrilleaux continues to grow responsibly while maintaining the standards the company was built on.

Keith Ketchum serves as Chief Estimator at Barrilleaux Energy Services, where he plays a key role in project planning, cost analysis, and developing competitive, accurate bids that support the company’s continued growth.

Keith brings over 28 years of experience in the pipeline and energy industry, with a background spanning field operations, welding, and project execution. His attention to detail and deep understanding of project scopes allow him to identify risks, control costs, and help position projects for success from the earliest stages.

At Barrilleaux, he works closely with operations and leadership to ensure estimates align with execution strategies, budgets, and client expectations. Keith is committed to delivering precise, reliable estimates and supporting strong, long-term partnerships with clients.
